What Battle was said to be the Turning point of the American Revolutionary War?

The Patriot Victory is seen as a turning point in the war because it invigorated the morale of the American public. It convince potential foreign partners like France that America could win the war and it might be in their best interest to send aid.

The victory was this that in 1777, British and Hessian troops surrendered their arms. Even if the other side seems victorious at first it was the victory at the Battle of Saratoga that gave new life to the American cause at such a critical period. Later on American success was owed to French aid in the form of financial and military assistance.
